It looks like “Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood” couple Princess Love and Ray J Norwood may be facing trouble in paradise.
The 35-year-old mother claimed her husband left her and their 1-year-old daughter Melody Love in the Las Vegas without any way to get home after attending the 2019 Soul Train Music Awards on Sunday.
In a now-deleted post, Ray J shared a red carpet photo of himself, his 8-month pregnant wife and their toddler posing for a family picture together. Appearing happier than ever, the “One Wish” singer captioned his post, “Thank you @bet. #SoulTrainAwards @princesslove @melodylovenorwood.”
It seems not everything was as hunky-dory as it looked like in the photo, and Princess wasted no time letting the public know.
“Left me and Melody stranded in Vegas and blocked me from calling.. now you wanna post family photos 😂 #ByeUgly,” the expectant mother commented on her husband’s post.
She later elaborated on the situation in a now deleted Instagram post and expressed safety concerns about traveling alone with her daughter and while with child.
“Yes, I can fly home.. I have my own money,” she explained. “But my car is here and I don’t want to drive back alone with my daughter because I’m over 8 months pregnant and I don’t even want to have to stop for gas or go into labor with all of this human trafficking going on…”
Her remarks drew a wave of mixed reactions from social media users.
“SMH wow that’s sad 😞 he really left his wife and baby stranded? Damn he ain’t changed at all.”
“But she knew … after all the BS. She still stayed. Ppl do what you allow them to do. Girl block your number out and call him 😂 and then leave him!”
“This is just her 3rd trimester attitude, most pregnant woman be overreacting and blowing up 😂. She probably wanted to leave, he probably had to jet off for a business meaning and she got pissed”
The “Sexy Can I” singer and Princess wedded in 2016 and welcomed their daughter Melody in May 2018. The pair recently announced they have a son on the way, who’s expected to be here by January 2020.
Ray J has yet to address his wife’s claims, and it remains unclear why he had to leave the awards show so quickly. He’s also deleted the red carpet photo of his family.
Hopefully, Princess and baby Melody make it home in one piece.
