People are still buzzing about Lori Harvey and Future being an item after he seemed to confirm it on Instagram last week.
And that chatter has grown even louder since then, because an old video of Lori’s mother Marjorie Harvey giving her daughter dating advice has now gone newly viral, advice Lori totally has seemed to ignore.

On Friday, November 29, the “Dirty Sprite” rapper went on Instagram Story and shared a video of he and Steve Harvey‘s stepdaughter in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Future was driving in the clip, and he turned the camera to show that Lori was with him.
Plus, he posted a still photo of the 22-year-old dressed in black and wearing diamonds. “Flawless. Tap for details,” Future captioned the pic.
The dating advice that Marjorie gave was seen during a 2015 episode of Steve Harvey’s now defunct talk show “Steve,” where she can be seen telling the then-18-year-old Lori to avoid rappers and other celebrities.
“Now you just started dating this year. How are we going to handle that?” asked the concerned mom. “No athletes, no rappers, we going to go down the list. … Don’t ever try and fit in when God has clearly created you to stand out. Always be a lady.”
“And understand you are the prize,” she added. “Don’t give yourself to anybody that is not going to be your husband. … If they love you, if they really care about you, they’ll wait on you.”
But if the rumors are true, Marjorie’s advice clearly fell on deaf ears and not only because of Future, but because of Sean “Diddy” Combs too.
Back in March, talk began to swirl that Combs and Lori were dating. Then word came in October they split after the Bad Boy founder was seen with an actress named Nicole Olivera while Lori was out of town.
Lori has also been linked to Trey Songz, Combs’ son Justin Combs,’ British Formula 1 race car driver Lewis Hamilton, and she was engaged to Dutch soccer player Memphis Depay in 2017 before they called it off.
After the clip of mother and daughter having their talk resurfaced, people had a lot to say about it in the comments.
