At long last, Evelyn Lozada’s ex-husband Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson has sounded off on O.G.’s claims he tried to start romancing her. Or at least he did by winking and nodding to this past season of “Basketball Wives.”
While getting in an evening workout Monday, the former Cincinnati Bengals star posted a video to his Instagram page standing in front of a mirror with his hand on his hip.

“Ocho Cinco wanted me………..” read the caption of Ochocinco’s Nov. 3 video, which included the song “Something In The Past” by One Way featuring Al Hudson.
Fans swiftly caught the reference. During season 7 of “Basketball Wives,” O.G. clashed with Lozada when she claimed Johnson was texting her and sending her direct messages on Twitter attempting to get a romance started between the two.
“Ochocinco wanted me! Ochocinco wanted me! … Ocho was in my DMs happy, boo! I’m your favorite athlete’s favorite athlete!” O.G. shouted at Lozada when they butted heads during a group trip to Costa Rica.
The former Legends Football League player claimed Johnson had been talking to her in 2011 when he was engaged to Lozada.
In response to the ex-NFL star’s post, fans rolled with laughter and called out Ochocinco’s trolling ways.

O.G. also took notice of Johnson’s video. She shared a couple of posts on her Instagram Story Tuesday reacting to his message.
“Just sitting here on the corner of awesome and bomb diggity. !Smooches!” read one.
The other was a screenshot of reality show executive producer Carlos King remarking on Johnson’s video. He quoted O.G. by commenting, “Your favorite athletes FAVORITE athlete.”
“The love is real!” O.G. commented of the caption, seemingly affirming that the receipts she fired off at the “BBW” reunion of her and Johnson’s exchanges were legitimate.
“I just never saw anything with him romantically,” she said during part two of the reunion before telling host Marc Lamont Hill of the receipts sprawled out on the ground, “When you get a chance you can read that. … So you tell me what that looks like.”
In turn, fans poured out with reactions to O.G.’s IG Story.

Lozada, meanwhile, has remained silent on her ex’s post.
