‘Whew Chile!’: Newly Single Monica ‘Sheds It All’ in Nude Photo

Fresh off her divorce becoming official, Monica is readying for a new beginning and releasing herself from the old in more ways than one.

The star of “T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle” shared a series of sexy shots on her Instagram page on Tuesday where she was covered by nothing but the shadow of a palm tree.

“New Beginnings Required Shedding it All 🖤M.D.A.,” read the “So Gone” singer’s caption, which also included the initials for her full name, Monica Denise Arnold. In another photo caption, she wrote there’s “not much getting under my skin these days… I Get ahead of it or above it…. M.D.A. …..🖤”

The image left fans tantalized in the comments section.

“Wheeew Chile‼️🤧🤤”

“You better go OFF!!!!! ❤️ “

“💯 Angel of Mine. 💯💯”

“oh ok! & im here for it!!!! tasteful & beautiful”

“Break the f—ing INTERNET THEN😍😍😍 @monicadenise”

“Oh you single single 👀”

It’s no mistake that Monica included her initials in the captions. The star has gone back to her maiden name since splitting from husband Shannon Brown.

The couple officially ended their 9-year marriage in a Fayetteville, Georgia, courthouse on Oct. 22.

Yet while the singer is coming into her own as a single woman, Brown recently made it clear he’s still into his now-ex-wife. When Monica posted a photo to her Instagram page a day before their divorce in an all-black outfit, Brown eagerly commented with a series of 27 heart-eye emoji.

His former spouse didn’t respond, but plenty of fans took notice.

“Why do men wait till it’s too late to show the love & affection that the woman’s been begging throughout the whole relationship?”

“Trying to get that old thang back 😫”

“Multiple heart eye emojis seem more like a toxic behaviour to me used to pull her back in, not respect”

Monica filed to separate from Brown in March, and after initially remaining mum, she shared some insight into how their love turned cold.

“We were married almost nine years, and I think life changes really got the best of both of us at times,” she explained on “The Breakfast Club” in April. “I take accountability for what my part is. Divorce has not been easy.”

Meanwhile, Brown didn’t seem bothered about the attention focused on the split.

“It’s part of it, though, when you’re in the public eye,” he said on “Sister Circle” in July after sharing he’s “fine.” “You’ve got to be able to deal with whatever come along with it. I’m strong in my faith and my spirituality, so that’s what pull me or push me.”
