‘Hot and Ready’: Alexis Skyy Confirms She’s ‘Single’ After Breakup Speculation About Trouble

It looks like “Love and Hip Hop” star Alexis Skyy is back on the market as a single woman.

After weeks of fans speculating about whether Skyy and rapper Trouble broke up, the 25-year-old model finally confirmed they are not together, telling the public she’s very much a bachelorette. She took to her Instagram Story on Monday evening and clarified her relationship status.

“Mfs confused still or sum I’m single af,” she wrote.

Her post comes a few days after social media users noticed she didn’t send the “She a Winner” rapper any birthday wishes. It’s unclear why the pair called split for a second time, but fans aren’t too surprised.

“Alexa play Monice ‘So Gone’ 😂 I told y’all once he got what he wanted he was going leave. That was longer than I expected tho lls”

“Them tables turned fast for Alexis. She made a fool ot herself and that cucumber. Go love on yourself sis”

“She’s like the hot potato pass her around little Ceasers 🍕 hot and ready. Sis always single 🤡 pretty girl but obviously can’t keep a man.”

Skyy and Trouble called it quits in late September after exchanging barbs on social media. Skyy blasted her lover for his communication issues, while Trouble claimed the reality TV star just wasn’t “the one” for him. Not to mention he allegedly cheated on Skyy with another woman while in Las Vegas. The twosome never addressed the infidelity speculation and reconciled shortly after their initial split.

Following their recent breakup, the mother of one was rumored to be dating Charlotte Hornets player Terry Rozier after she was spotted at one of the team’s NBA games in October. According to Skyy’s relationship status, it seems the rumors are false.

As for Trouble, he’s also rumored to have a new boo. The Atlanta native is allegedly dating R&B singer Monica, who recently finalized her divorce from ex-husband and former NBA player Shannon Brown. The pair have been spotted all over Atlanta together lately. Trouble, however, has yet to address his breakup with Skyy.

Independent journalism doesn't fund itself.

We hope this story was worth your time. For over 14 years, Atlanta Black Star has stayed Black-owned and independently run. We didn't get here by waiting on ad budgets that were never built to prioritize us. Our readers did that.

Corporate support for Black media has always been thin. Outlets like ours get roughly 1% of the $170 billion spent on U.S. advertising each year, and that margin is shrinking further as advertisers walk back the DEI-linked commitments they made in 2020. That's the backdrop. It's not why we're asking.

We know a request for support isn't why you came here. But without readers choosing to fund this work directly, the depth of reporting we can do at home and abroad shrinks along with everyone else's. If you're not in a position to give, that doesn't change how much we value you as a reader.

If you are able to, a recurring contribution does more for us than a single one-time gift, because it lets us plan the next investigation instead of just the next invoice. It takes about 30 seconds, no long form, no account. Thank you for continuing to support independent journalism and freedom of the press.
