It looks like the premiere of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” kicked off with a bang after Kandi Burruss came face-to-face with the woman Porsha Williams‘ fiancé allegedly cheated with.
On last night’s season 12 premiere, Williams’ relationship issues with her fiancé Dennis McKinley were highlighted and quickly became the topic of discussion.
The couple’s drama played out onscreen when “WAGS Atlanta” star and McKinley’s alleged mistress, Sincerely Ward, approached Cynthia Bailey, Eva Marcille and Burruss at the Xscape singer’s Old Lady Gang restaurant in Atlanta. Ward denied ever having an affair with McKinley and even claimed she’d “never met” him before.
Ward added that it was one of the McKinley’s “vindictive, hateful” exes who spread the rumor about her, essentially slapping down blogger Tasha K’s mistress claims about her.
At Kenya Moore‘s Barbie-themed party for daughter Brooklyn Doris Daly in late June, the “RHOA” cast mates told Williams about their chat with Ward. A heartbroken Williams later claimed in her confessional that her fiancé did in fact cheat on her with another woman while she was pregnant with their daughter Pilar Jhena’, but she doesn’t believe it was with the “WAGS” star.
“Dennis has moved out. It’s been about four or five days,” said Williams during the premiere. “We were arguing about something I found in his phone that I found to be inappropriate, and then, that’s when I realized, he was unfaithful to me while I was carrying our child.”
The mother of one reportedly ended her engagement with McKinley in June after rumors swirled that The Original Hot Dog Factory owner was unfaithful. The couple, however, reconciled and re-engaged in August and have been working to repair their relationship.
“RHOA” viewers had mixed reactions to the drama that unfolded during Sunday night’s season premiere. Some even blamed Burruss for orchestrating the scene with McKinley’s alleged side chick.

Burruss, however, took to Twitter on Nov. 3 to respond to the speculation, writing, “I promise that I had no idea that Sincerely was gonna pop up & bring up that situation on the blogs. I was doing my best to stay out of that drama..” She added, “blame production. don’t blame me… I had absolutely nothing to do with that!”
