It’s official. Quad Webb is a divorced woman as she and her ex-husband Dr. Gregory Lunceford have reached a settlement in their split.
The news means the former couple has avoided a trial, according to documents obtained by The Blast Monday.
A final judgment and decree had been ordered in the Fulton County Superior Court case on October 4. The declaration was made more than a year after the “Married to Medicine” star initially filed to divorce her psychiatrist husband in May 2018, spelling an end to their six-year marriage.
They have no children together.
At the time of the filing, Webb accused Lunceford of “cruel treatment willfully inflicted” upon her, “such as reasonably justified apprehension” for her mental health, and adultery. Lunceford denied it and accused his then-wife of removing furniture from their home.
The two then took their battles to the press, with Lunceford going on V-103 last September “to defend my honor” after Webb used her talk show “Sister Circle” to deem him “disrespectful as he wants to be.”
“If you want to live single, you got to do the work to be single. … You’re living single with your trips and everything but if you want to be single, do the paperwork so you can be single. Mines is in. Let’s go,” she said.
By May 2019, Webb compelled the court to put pressure on her estranged hubby to hand over financial documents tied to his businesses and property ahead of a then-scheduled April 8 trial.
Now, it seems Lunceford has cooperated and the MD and Webb are currently moving forward with their lives, separately. While Lunceford has remained silent, it appears Webb has spoken out following the news of her divorce finalization going public.
“Sometimes you never know the value of a moment, until it becomes a memory. 💋” she captioned a photo of her posing solo that she uploaded to her Instagram account Monday night.
