It’s hardly a secret that if you owe 50 Cent money, you will be blasted online about it at some point.
The millionaire ‘Power’ executive producer is known for shaming folks who fail to pay him back, but apparently 50 wasn’t always squared away with his debtors either.
Here are five people who were once waiting on checks from 50 Cent.
His Son’s Mother
After Shaniqua Tompkins, the mother of 50’s oldest son, Marquise, reportedly requested $50,000 a month in child support, a judge ordered Fif to pay $25,000 a month in 2007.
The charge was later reduced to $6,700, according to Complex magazine.
The Mother of Rick Ross’ child
Fif was ordered to pay Lastonia Leviston more than $7 million in damages when he leaked her sex tape in 2009, Complex reported. Leviston and Rick Ross are co-parents to their 17-year-old daughter Toie Roberts.
Young Buck
Former G-Unit rapper Young Buck reportedly took to Instagram Live to accuse a certain someone of stealing money from him throughout his time as a G-Unit artist.
Young Buck doesn’t name 50 or the label allegedly to avoid being sued, but the Nashville native ranted about the whole encounter in an Instagram video the hip-hop commentary outlet Diverse Mentality referenced on YouTube in January.
Snoop Dogg
Hip-Hop legend Snoop Dogg is not playing with 50. He said on Instagram June 29 he will scoop Fif’s ride if not paid.
“Mm. Mm,” Snoop said gushing over the car. “50 Cent. I rapped on stage tonight with 50 Cent. I did ‘P.I.M.P,’ and he didn’t give me no money, so I guess I’ma take his car and we gon call it even.”
“I need my money, cuz,” Snoop said, jokingly. “Matter of fact I don’t even want the money. I just want to drive this pretty mother—-er.”
The West Coast rapper apparently did take 50’s car after a performance and left him stranded. Fif talked about it on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
The Bankruptcy creditors
OK so it’s not a person, but it might as well be because 50 once owed creditors more than $22 million after filing Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
Although he’s since paid some $8.7 million toward the debt from his own wallet, he paid the other $13.65 million from a settlement in a legal malpractice lawsuit against other attorneys, The Guardian reported.
