50 Cent told a comical story about Snoop Dogg thieving his Lamborghini when they performed in Brooklyn, New York, at the Barclays Center for the 2019 Masters of Ceremony concert on June 28.
The “Get Rich or Die Tryin'” writer relayed the story Wednesday when he stopped by “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.” 50 said Snoop was a surprise guest during his set and everything went off without incident. But that changed when 50 tried to leave the arena.
“I had more to do, so he left and I continued to perform,” the New York rapper recalled. “When I came off I was wet, so I wiped off and everything and got dressed. Then I came out and the car was gone.”
“He went, walked by the car, saw the car and got — I don’t know if it was jealous feelings or something — but he actually went to the car and got in the car, because the keys are in there because we parked inside the Barclays,” added 50. “And the guy who was supposed to be like the valet parker, I was like ‘Where’d the car go?’ He said ‘Snoop took the car.'”
50 then asked the valet person why he or she would let Snoop, or anyone else for that matter, drive off with his new Lambo. The G-Unit founder also joked that Snoop smokes so much weed he might’ve thought the vehicle was his.
Plus, 50 gave another reason why the “Gin and Juice” performer swiped the whip.
“Later he made a tape saying I owe him for the performance,” he said about Snoop. “He thought I tricked him into a performance, but he offered to perform.”
Snoop posted a clip of 50’s “Late Show” visit Thursday on his Instagram page and had a little more fun about taking the luxury vehicle.
“I’ll be back in our car this tycoon week 👍🏿💙🔥✨💥. 🚙 @50cent,” wrote Snoop.
