Porsha Williams just may be a married woman.
The star of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” was out with her fiancé Dennis McKinley over the weekend, and the couple snapped a selfie on what appeared to be a date.
“Married life ❤️💪🏽 ” read the caption of the Sunday image McKinley posted to Instagram of Williams resting her chin on her hand with a smiling McKinley in the background.
The caption promptly had McKinley’s followers thinking that he and Williams had secretly tied the knot, and as a result they piled on questions and compliments in the caption.
“Wait ❤️ Did u guys get married?”
“Congrats on ya’ll Marrige”
“I thought yall wasn’t getting married till December??”
“Congratulations didn’t realize you guys got married! @porsha4real CONGRATULATIONS! Beautiful family! 😍😘”
“Waaaiiiittttt, y’all got married?!?! Yaaayyyyy!!!!! 😍😍😍😍”
“Married?! 😲 congratulations!!!!!”
However, the chatter may have gotten to McKinley. By Monday morning, The Original Hot Dog Factory owner had changed the caption to read, “TheGoodLife❤️💪🏽”
Williams and Dennis got engaged again in August after they called off their planned New Year’s Eve nuptials over the summer. While neither party ever explicitly sounded off on the split, E! News confirmed in June that their eight-month betrothal was a wrap.
Williams did, however, indicate on Instagram that she was having a rough time.
“Dear God, I made it out of bed this morning… Thank you so much,” read a meme the star shared to her Instagram page amid the confirmation that her relationship was over.
The split between 6-month-old Pilar Jhena’s parents followed the pair unfollowing each other on Instagram. Additionally, Williams removed her 13-carat sparkler from her left ring finger amid McKinley being accused of cheating on the “RHOA” star.
Yet by the time Williams traveled to Toronto for an annual Caribbean festival in August, Williams and McKinley had rekindled their romance.
Radar Online reported at the time that when Tanya Sam threw a party for the cast, she gave a speech announcing a special someone had flown into town. Out walked McKinley, and, according to Toronto social columnist Shinan Govani, “suddenly he was on his knees, and re-proposing. Porsha accepted, and yelled, ‘I’m engaged!’ again.”
Williams later confirmed on the nightly entertainment news program “Dish Nation” that she and her man are once again an item but they were being cautious about their relationship.
“We’re taking it one day at a time. We’re working on it,” she shared.
