Kandi Burruss seems to be reminiscing, and a throwback photo she shared Thursday led fans to confuse her with actress Meagan Good.
The star of Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” reflected on her introduction to the series in 2009 back in season 2.
“TBT: this is from my first season on RHOA when the world was reintroduced to ‘the girl from Xscape’, ‘the songwriter Kandi’ and 10 years later, you all are still rocking with me and you have added some more titles! Thank you 😘😘” she wrote in the caption.
Fans raved about the photo by remarking about how slim the star was a decade ago.
“Can I have that TBT stomach??? Mine isn’t acting right…”
“Wow, you looked so tiny in this picture.”
“Kano was SkinTy 🔥🔥😍😍”
Many others, however, felt the singer turned reality TV star looked an awful lot like actress Meagan Good based on her hairstyle and profile.
“Lookin’ Megan Goodish.”
“🎉Wow looks good but I thought this was Megan Good”
“This pic is 🔥🔥🔥!! I ain’t gonna lie, I thought it was Megan Good for a second.”
“U look like Megan Good on here so beautiful and talented 💯”
“Thought this was Meghan Good or Dawn. You are THEE Original ❤️ “
Burruss has long been a staple of “RHOA.” She’s also one of the few cast members who has never taken a break from the series since coming on board.
However, should former co-star Phaedra Parks return, Burruss has said she’s willing to hand over her peach.
Amid rumors that Parks was looking to rejoin the long-running show, Burruss told HollywoodLife in March that she “wouldn’t be dealing with it” if the Atlanta-based attorney came back on the series. In essence, Burruss would be willing to quit altogether.
The star has since said she does not “have any hate in my heart” for Parks but maintained the rumor that Parks spread claiming Burruss wanted to drug and rape co-star Porsha Williams went “too far.”
“I know there’s lots of rumors swirling around about me returning to the housewives, but I haven’t had any discussions about returning,” Parks told the Daily Mail of reports she may come back on “RHOA.” “I never say never to any opportunities, but I had a good run and, you know, I’m very happy right now.”
So while it seems Burruss’ status on the show may still be secured in the meantime, it remains to be seen if Parks ever changes her mind.
