Congratulations are in order for Grammy Award-nominated singer Keyshia Cole and her boyfriend Niko “Khale” Hale.
Over the past few weeks, the “Heaven Sent” singer celebrated the anticipated arrival of her and Khale’s baby boy and as of Thursday night, August 1, their newborn son is finally here.
Cole, 37, took to her Instagram story around 11 p.m. August 1 and confirmed she’d given birth to her son, writing, “Baby boy is here Yall, OMG.” She also posted a photo of her 10-year-old son Daniel Gibson Jr., whom she shares with estranged husband and former Cleveland Cavaliers player Daniel Gibson, cradling the baby in his arms.
“Big brother vibes,” Cole plastered across the image.
She appeared to be surrounded by family and friends as she laid in the hospital bed post birth. Khale, 23, was right by his mate’s side, holding her hand as she appeared to be in labor.
“It’s Time!!!” the DMV native wrote on his Instagram story, attaching a photo of himself and Cole.
The couple have yet to reveal the baby’s name.
Cole and Hale celebrated their baby shower last weekend with loved ones and were more than excited to meet their now newborn son.
“I soooo ready to meet my little munchkin #2,” the “Love” artist wrote Wednesday afternoon.
Viewers will get a chance to follow the celeb’s pregnancy journey on her new untitled reality series coming soon to BET. The premiere date has yet to be announced.
Cole first announced she was pregnant with her second child in May with a picture of her protruding baby bump. She and Khale confirmed weeks later they were having a son.
