“Black Ink Crew: Chicago” star Charmaine Walker is currently under fire.
The celebrity concierge made her grand return to the show this week after quitting 9MAG just a few episodes ago. If fans can remember, Walker decided to part ways from shop owner Ryan Henry, shop manager Van Johnson and the rest of the 9 MAG crew after her explosive altercation with tattoo artist Lily Barrios. After the Mexican-American artist almost came to blows with her fiancé Neek Bey, Walker officially quit the shop. Fans even felt, Henry and the other staff choose Barrios over Walker, leaving the celebrity concierge hanging.
Now that her foe Barrios is out of the shop after being fired for fighting, Walker petitioned to get her concierge position back.
During Tuesday night’s episode, Walker met with Henry, Walker and the original 9MAG crew to discuss her return to the shop. She said Johnson called her as soon as he fired Barrios.
“Van hit me up the moment he fired that ass,” she said in her confessional. “I made a short list of the reasons why she should’ve been fired a long time ago.”
Johnson, who manages the old 9MAG shop, eventually hired Walker back, seeing as the apparent “bad apple” of the shop, Barrios, no longer worked there.
However, “Black Ink Crew: Chicago” fans felt Walker returning to the tattoo shop was a horrible decision and scolded her for doing so.
“Damn she just can’t stay away! I was really hoping she’d quit for good but I guess not 🤷. She a damn goofy.”
“This why i always been on lilly side cuz Charmain dnt knw wut she wont. Smh her ass need 2 quit agn.”
“Charmaine so dumb 🙄! Those ain’t your friends they ain’t even have ur back!”
“Lol not surprised. How else was sis gonna make her livelihood? 9Mag is hella unprofessional and they’re making her that way too. She got no transferrable skills 🤷🏽♀️.”
