Tami Roman is no stranger to switching up her look, but the newest one doesn’t seem to be making her the most excited.
The star of VH1’s “Basketball Wives” uploaded a photo debuting her new look on Instagram Monday, July 22.
“@styledbyudi said I needed to participate in this whole ‘Hot Girl Summer’ thing 😂,” she captioned the post that referenced the single of the same name and seasonal movement spurred by rapper Megan Thee Stallion.
Roman’s hair was coiffed by Greg Gilmore, and the added weave is from Bundle Emporium.
Gilmore also shared the image on his Instagram account, where he complimented the star and praised how the look came together.
“Summer Time Fine My Boo @tamiroman . Y’all don’t know but she just really has my heart . Blonde is a beast and she is knockin’ it out right now !💥🥊 Tami don’t play ! Come thru #SummerBlonde #TheGtouch #NewCutNewLife,” the hairstylist wrote in the caption.
But while he adored the look, it doesn’t seem as if Roman feels the same way.
When a fan admittedly was “not feeling this too much,” she also asked the reality star if she liked the new hairstyle, and Roman candidly replied, “it’s different but you know I like to switch it up 😂😂”
But whether or not Roman or a few of her fans fully embraced the look, the overwhelming majority of the star’s followers loved the brighter ‘do.

Roman has rocked a similar style to this short, curls-on-top style before.
In October, Roman debuted a similar hairstyle to her current one, but she kept things closer to her natural hue and sported deep, black tresses.
“The sexiest thing a woman can do is find peace within💋,” the star captioned the video.
Fans loved the look, which she showed off again a little over a month later on the ‘Gram.
The cropped ‘dos came after Roman had initially lopped off all her hair last summer, making the change from longer tresses to a closely-cropped look.
