It looks like “Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” star Tommie Lee has a different perspective on life since getting out of the slammer.
The television personality celebrated her homecoming last week after being locked behind bars for nearly three months and avoiding 54 years in prison for her recent child abuse case. The whole ordeal apparently taught her a lesson and gave her a new outlook on life and people.
Lee took to her Instagram live story Tuesday evening and shared her support for rapper ASAP Rocky’s release from a Swedish detention center.
“Praying for you,” she wrote over a photo of the “Peso” rapper. “I pray for anybody going through injustice, times are sad enough right now!!
Lee also reflected on her time in jail and claimed the experience changed her perspective.
“My last experience made me see a lot of things differently and even the people around me in a whole nother light! #payattention.”
The 35-year-old mother of two was hauled off to jail in March after violating her bond by showing up intoxicated to a hearing in her child abuse case. A week later she asked to enter the court’s mental health program but was denied due to her extensive rap sheet.
Lee however avoided serving any prison time last month and was handed down 10 years of probation after pleading guilty to five charges out of the seven she was hit with. She was also ordered to attend a residential recovery program. After her program is completed, she must spend nearly a year in aftercare with licensed professionals. If Lee gets into any trouble during her probation term she will be hauled off to prison.
Since her release, some fans have rooted for Lee to stay on the right path, while others not so much.
“So happy to see you @tommiee_ frfr 🙌🏾💯 please stay out of jail. Cheering u on from the sidelines.”
“My baby home god is good ❤️ be sure to stay out of trouble sis.”
“Idk why ya’ll happy she home all she gone do is go back to jail. smh. ”
