Grammy Award-winning singer Ashanti put her body on display earlier this week in her new swimwear line and nearly left fans speechless.
The “Mesmerize” artist recently joined forces with online fashion boutique PrettyLittleThing for her new swimwear collections which was inspired by her travels to several tropical places like the Caribbean and the Amazon. Well, it’s safe to say Ashanti heated the ’Gram this week after slaying a two-piece set from her collection.
Clearly slaying social media on Independence Day, Ashanti posted a photo of herself rocking a pink-snakeskin print bikini top and bottom that showed off quite a bit of her body, including her ripped abs and thighs. She also opted for a bronze makeup look and waved-up tresses.
She adopted a statuesque pose in front of a stairway and captioned her post via Instagram, “‘Imma give u what u need…& u need this pretty lil thing.'”
Her post received over 113,000 likes and a slew of comments from fans who ballyhooed her appearance.

Ashanti’s new swimwear collection is the second clothing line and collab she’s dropped in the past year.
In December, she was given the chance to work with New York-based designer Isabel Deng, the owner of fashion label Miss Circle, to create a clothing line of her liking.
“This is a very visual industry, so I feel like the more things that you’re a part of and the more that you’re able to show your brand and your style and who you are in different fashions, the better off you are,” she told Page Six, adding that her motto has always been to “stay classy and sassy and sexy, not trashy.”
The Miss Circle x Ashanti collection dropped later that month and featured 21 pieces ranging from $19 for a belt to items for $199.
