‘Practice What You Preach’: Reginae Carter’s Recent Relationship Advice Backfires As Fans Lend Her Counseling of Their Own

It looks like social media isn’t here for “T.I. & Tiny: Friends and Family HustleReginae Carter‘s apparent expertise on love and broken hearts.

It’s pretty clear fans don’t deem the 20-year-old celebrity a poster child for dishing advice on perfect relationships, considering that she and her off-and-on boyfriend YFN Lucci, 28, are in constant social media squabbles and breakups, but that didn’t stop the reality star from giving some.

Carter took to her Twitter Monday morning with a chain of now-deleted tweets warning people to “beware” of heartbreak.

“Don’t look stupid behind no n–ga,” she wrote. “Beware of how many times you allow someone to break your heart. Take care of your heart.”

Her messages came hard on the heels of a recent post of a now-deleted photo of her and her boyfriend Lucci together that she captioned “Mines.”

A few hours before deleting her post of the “Heartless” rapper, they were spotted together this past weekend at the 2019 BET Award show, which confused fans as to how they could’ve apparently broken up so quickly.

Fed up with Carter’s seemingly love-distraught tweets, fans blasted her on social media.

“Girl shut up 🙄. You keep going back dummy. We gone cancel you in a minute.”

“Is this one of those .. it’s me I’m broken hearted post 🤦🏾‍♀️ we been telling u this sis take ya own advice. She’ll be back with him in 3,2…1.”

“But…. she just posted a picture saying ‘mines’… whew. Young love is too much for me. Reginae please practice what you preach.”

“Ummmm 😩 so much contradiction! Here’s some advice take your advice baby girl.”

It’s no secret that Toya Wright, Carter’s mother, isn’t too fond of her daughter’s boyfriend and warned her daughter about dating the 28-year-old rap artist, urging Carter to just focus on herself.

“I don’t like the age difference,” Wright told her daughter during season 1 of “T.I. & Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle. “I don’t like the fact that he have four kids because I mean, you trying to be stepmom, honey?”

She added, “You know how I feel about that whole rapper thing,” she added. “I dated your dad when I was younger than that and there’s a whole lot that comes with that lifestyle. And that’s the last thing I want or any mother want.”

Despite folks being against Carter and Lucci’s relationship, there are others who support the pair.

“Yall are too cute…so dope ❤️❤️ I’m rooting for y’ all to stay together.”

“I love their relationship but don’t rush into y’all have plenty of time. Love them 😍.”
