Keyshia Ka’Oir‘s latest post threw fans for quite a loop.
The 34-year-old serial entrepreneur shared a sweet Father’s Day post dedicated to her late father and also her husband Gucci Mane. She posted a wedding photo of her and the “Make Love” rapper from October 2017 ceremony with her late father’s face digitally plastered in the middle.
Dedicating the post to seemingly two of the most important men in her life, she wrote in her Instagram caption Sunday afternoon “Happy Fathers Day Daddyđ.”
Fans abruptly flooded Ka’Oir’s photo with positive remarks.
“Happy Fatherâs Day to your dad and Gucci đđ˝ #tearsofjoy I’m sure he’s looking down on y’all.”
“This is so touching N heartfelt N always loved N remembered N respected, cared may he RIP.”
Other fans were more blown away by how Gucci favored his wife’s father, claiming they even had the same smile.
“He looks like ur dad!!! Now I see why you fell in love!!! ⤠they even have the same smile.”
“Wtf what?! Gucci look like her daddy that’s weird af.”
“Gucci looks like your dad a little I see why you in love he reminds you of your dad đđż.”
“Uhhh Why Gucci Man favor your father? Damn you sure Wop not ya brother đ¤ˇ.”
Ka’Oir spoke about her father’s death during an interview with the Breakfast Club in 2017. She claimed to have watched her father get murdered at the age of 10.
“He was coming home one night and they [suspects] were outside in the bushes waiting for him to walk in and they shot him in his head, we [her and her siblings] were inside,” she said.
Ka’Oir also said her father’s death was a reason she and Gucci decided to keep her three children who are from a previous relationship out of the public eye.
“Gucci and I both have children,” she told the Breakfast Club, clearing up rumors accusing her of abandoning them in Jamaica. “Itâs a situation where Iâm proud to be a mother, but I need it to be private. I donât need the kids in the limelight. I donât want them on social media. I need them to go to school and just be children.”
Her children were, however, featured at their extravagant wedding ceremony in October 2017. The event was televised by BET for their television series “The Mane Event.” Despite the BET extravaganzaâs appearances, the couple actually tied the knot in May 2017, they revealed last month.
