‘Who Is This?’ Porsha Williams Rendered Totally Unrecognizable In Messy Blond Wig

Porsha Williams’newest selfie is turning heads among her Instagram followers.

“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star on Monday uploaded a photo of herself posing in a relatively natural state. She seemed to have not a trace of makeup on and wore a messy blond wig and a ball cap.

“SelfCare #SelfLove 🎯 *No I didn’t brush my wig , go brush ya teeth lol,” she captioned the pic.

Several fans quickly chimed in to remark on how much the star, who welcomed daughter Pilar Jhena’ in March, did not look like herself.

“Who is this?”

“Who dis? #beautiful.”

“Idk who this is…. she cute though.🤷🏻‍♀️”

“Who is this blonde bombshell? ❤️”

Some even confused the reality star with her younger half-sister, Lauren Williams.

“At first glance I thought this was @lodwill.”

“Yooooooo I thought this was @lodwill.”

“Almost thought you were @lodwill 😂😂”

“Thought this was your sister at first.”

Porsha is not a stranger to changing up her looks. During season 9 of “RHOA,” the star debuted a pixie cut on-screen when she arrived at the reunion. The first-time mom had initially cut her hair in August 2016 and rocked it on TV’s “Dish Nation.”

Last summer was one of the star’s most experimental seasons concerning her hair. First, Porsha rocked a fiery, sleek red hairstyle that she took on because her fiancé Dennis McKinley is into the look. The following month, she stayed in the color family and debuted a curly deep purple ‘do. August saw Porsha switch things up once more, dyeing her hair the lightest it’s ever been in the form of an ashy blond hue. The star’s tresses were styled in soft waves that cascaded down her arms.

It seems Porsha is now giving fans a glimpse of herself and taking a little break from sharing adorable photos of baby Pilar for the time being. Pilar’s super-serious look in a June 3 photo certainly gave Gabrielle Union’s daughter Kaavia James — also known as Shady Baby — a run for her money. And the facial expression had fans cracking up.

“@porsha4real lil dennis mad lol.”

“PJ said get that camera out her face lol… she so cute.”

“My baby Mean Mugging, Lol..I’m waiting for her to start Laughing and Smiling like Brookie Boo…😍💖.”

Democracy needs journalism it can trust.

This election season, the stakes are higher than usual — and so is the pressure on newsrooms to soften their coverage, stay quiet, or just disappear. Independent reporting, the kind that answers to readers instead of advertisers or political pressure, matters more in a moment like this, not less.

For over 14 years, Atlanta Black Star has stayed independent and reader-funded. We have no corporate owner and no shareholders telling us what to cover or how to cover it. That independence is also our biggest vulnerability: nothing protects it except readers choosing to fund it directly.

Newspaper ad revenue has fallen more than 80% since 2005, and local newsrooms are closing at a rate of roughly two a week nationwide. When outlets go under in a moment like this, it's rarely the independent, reader-funded ones that get to stick around.

We know a request for support isn't why you came here. But without readers choosing to fund this work directly, the depth of reporting we can do at home and abroad shrinks along with everyone else's. If you're not in a position to give, that doesn't change how much we value you as a reader.

If you are able to, a recurring contribution does more for us than a single one-time gift, because it lets us plan the next investigation instead of just the next invoice. It takes about 30 seconds, no long form, no account. Thank you for continuing to support independent journalism and freedom of the press.
