A few social media users apparently are taking issue with Keyshia Ka’Oir‘s glamorous makeup looks.
Other than her fashion, the model is known for her bold makeup looks, which she apparently takes pride in. Just on Instagram Sunday evening, Ka’Oir posted a selfie of herself showing off her Rolling Loud makeup look from last week.
She rocked a teal blue, icy eye shadow on her top and bottom eyelid, seemingly matching it to her hair color, a matte pink lipstick and bold brows. She seemingly opted for a full-coverage glam look, including a heavier foundation, concealer, contour and bronzer.
“Still obsessed over my #RollingLoud look 🍭,” she wrote in her caption.
Fans agreed and swooned over her appearance.
“You are so beautiful keyshiakaoir!!! ALWAYS bad… Im trying to get them brows ❤❤.”
“I’m obsessed with your looks and success @keyshiakaoir you are goals! 💖👑 your make up is a flawless matte 😍.”
Others accused her of donning too much makeup.
“Tooooo much makeup and bling bling just toooo much ma’am 🙅🏼.”
“Can I see yoou face without makeup I bet you’re beautiful this is too much.”
“Am I the only one who thinks this is too much? I don’t like the blue keep it natural.”
Despite how fans feel about Ka’Oir’s dramatic or over-the-top makeup appearances, she personally takes pride in being eccentric when it comes to her overall style.
Her cosmetic company Ka’Oir Cosmetics was one of the first brands to ever began selling different colored lipsticks other than red and pinks that people were used to.
My friends were all like, you can’t wear blue lipstick because people will make fun of you,” she told The Cut in February 2018 during an interview. “I ignored them, because I’m always a unique person and I want to be over the edge.”
She added, “No one knew my name [before dating Gucci Mane], no one knew who I was, but everyone wanted to be the girl with the mohawk and the blue lipstick.”
As for her and her husband, rapper Gucci Mane, the couple recently celebrated their second wedding anniversary, which initially had been thought to be in October, not May. She wrote in a sweet message to her husband, “Today, May 14th is our day for many beautiful reasons!! We met 5/14/10 Got married 5/14/17 #TheWopstersAnniversary ❤️💍.”
