R&B singer Ashanti is being deemed a whole mood whilst the week comes to an end.
The “Rain On Me” musician definitely has her runway walk down pat, and it’s nothing short of fabulous. On Wednesday, she gave fans a peek behind the scenes of her and Ja Rule‘s live concert in Indio, California, on April 6 at the Fantasy Springs Casino.
She uploaded a clip on Instagram of herself seemingly heading onstage to perform while dressed to the nines in a bedecked form-fitting jumpsuit and heels. As Ashanti is recorded sashaying to the stage, she turned to the camera, rocking stunner shades and blond tresses, and stuck out her tongue.
She wrote in her video caption, “Walking into Wednesday like.”
Fans clamored over the celeb’s sexy strut, while others called it a “big mood” for the week.

Ashanti and former “Murder Inc” labelmate Ja Rule will wrap up their tour on June 29, lastly performing in Belgium at Kristal Park. Although there’s no confirmation on whether or not the duo will release a joint album this year after teasing the idea last year, Ashanti said fans can expect to hear some new music of her own later this year.
“I’m working with some amazing producers, really cool ideas, and collabs!” the 38-year-old told EW from an interview on March 29. “I’m excited about the next few moves, the year ahead, and releasing new music. It’s going to be a lot of fun.”
She’s executively producing her album along with music producer Metro Booming. Several artists will be featured on her album, including Tory Lanez, Jeremih, Swae Lee, and many others.
“I’m doing some stuff with Wiz Kid, and there are some talks of doing stuff with Davido, J-Roc, L. T. I’ve been talking to…. J Balvin, J. White [about] some really cool ideas.”
When asked if she’ll be releasing a new single from the album anytime soon, Ashanti said she hopes so, but it’s “all about timing.”
“There are a lot of things going on and it’s important to line everything up as much as you can, but it’s also important to not sit and wait on things,” she said. ” Sometimes I have a bad habit of waiting for things to line up perfectly because sometimes that doesn’t happen and then you miss out. I’d love to have some new stuff out this summer!”
