As fans piled on the praise for Marlo Hampton’s newest fashionable frock, detractors slowly waded their way through the comments section.
“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star gave fans what they wanted by serving some serious style on her Instagram account Tuesday, April 2.
“🥢🔪 💅🏾 I always bring my slay game 💰💰💰,” the reality star captioned the image.
Wearing an uber-long ponytail, Hampton posed with her hair in her hand in a colorful one-shoulder Mary Katrantzou dress. An equally colorful set of Louboutin heels adorned Hampton’s feet. She completed the ‘fit with huge gold-colored statement earrings and a matching bracelet, along with a small yellow handbag.
The celeb’s followers eagerly complimented her appearance.
“🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 As Always!!!!”
“@marlohampton You are gracefully aging backwards!!! Beautiful!!!😍😍”
“I Think She The Best Looking Housewive!! 💜”
But then, critics rolled through to remark negatively on the longtime friend of the show, who has never become a full-time cast member of “RHOA.”
“But you messy and tear others down. We ain’t trynna see that.”
“You sure do but please dont being mean and nasty like @neneleakes. You are better than that @marlohampton we love you.”
Hampton doesn’t have to hold a peach to keep the pot stirring all throughout season 11 of “RHOA,” however.
“I do feel you’re beautiful, you’re gorgeous,” Hampton said in an episode of “RHOA” titled “Sisterhood of the Traveling Peaches.” “You can’t get ugly nowhere. The fashion, you need help with it. Not being funny. I would have a field day with you.”
DeVoe held her own and later fired off on “Watch What Happens Live,” “Of course I’m gonna say — oh, wait a minute, Marlo’s not a housewife, is she?” in response to a question about who’s the shadiest housewife.
When she moved on from taking jabs at the Blaque singer’s aesthetic, Hampton was spilling the beans about new bride Eva Marcille’s alleged financial woes. Hampton repeated gossip from one of the model’s disgruntled bridesmaids, who relayed the dirt in a phone call after Marcille’s wedding.
“I’m hearing that they’re having a problem with where they’re living, that they’re renting,” Hampton said. “I’m hearing that they have to get out ASAP. The streets are saying her car has a CPN or CPA number. … Some crooked way to get a car.”
Marcille has denied she has any issues with her money and claims that her ever-changing living situation actually stems from her ex-boyfriend stalking her family.
