After largely keeping his identity hidden for nearly a year, Tamar Braxton made her first public appearance with the Nigerian boyfriend who makes her giddy.
The singer walked the red carpet at the season six premiere of her family’s reality TV series, “Braxton Family Values” on Tuesday, April 2. Braxton named him on Instagram recently but thanks to their appearance, we now know his full name is David Adefeso.

After the pics came out, Braxton made things official on her Instagram page by sharing one of the photos with the man she’s nicknamed T’Chella on Wednesday.
“Whew chile 👅💦” she captioned the pic.
Fans swiftly flooded her comments section with approving responses.
“So glad that you are showing the man that loves you sis! Happy for you 🌺🙌🏾”
“Your new man look handsome tay tay.”

While he has hidden behind sunglasses here (and during a recent outing where he was compelled to get up and dance upon hearing his woman sing), fans got a full glimpse of Adefeso during a preview for “Braxton Family Values,” which returns to We TV Thursday, April 4.
Although the pair appeared to have briefly split late last month, it’s apparent Braxton and Adefeso — who have been dating for about 10 months now — are definitely a unit.
Braxton was first spotted with Adefeso outside in Los Angeles last summer. She gave small peeks at him on social media all throughout the season and finally confirmed she was moving on from estranged husband Vincent Herbert with him in September 2018.
“Thank you, God, he’s so fine! I can’t take it sometimes. It’s like a whole snack — a Lunchable! He lives in L.A., he’s originally from Nigeria, but he lived here for a while,” she said on “The Wendy Williams Show” at the time.
Adefeso used his Harvard business degree to go into firm management, which Braxton teased on E!’s “Daily Pop” late last year.
A Google search of his name reveals he is the chief executive officer of The Pacific Group, a financial products and services firm with offices in Los Angeles and Fort Worth, Texas.
Adefeso’s company bio states he’s previously worked on Wall Street as an investment banker with Wasserstein Perella & Co. and Salomon Smith Barney, and he’s also served as a certified public accountant.
