While some rappers are still playing the hardened love-them-and-leave-them role, G Herbo is doing the opposite by openly expressing his love for Taina Williams, Emily B‘s daughter and Fabolous‘ stepdaugher.
Williams turned 21 years old on April 1, and Herbo sent her a romantic Instagram message that got a lot of attention.
“I could have tried to talk to you & at least get your # when I first seen you but something told me not to… Wait until the time right and it was,” he wrote on Monday. “Happy birthday to prolly the most understanding person I ever met.”
Before Williams, Herbo was with a woman named Ariana Fletcher, and they have a son together, Yosohn Santana Wright. In October 2018, Fletcher suddenly announced she was single, which was shortly after there were rumors that Herbo cheated on her with Williams.
“I’m only addressing this because you weak ass hoes f—ing folks and I’m not gone lie it’s embarrassing because y’all so weak so I don’t want y’all thinking y’all f–king my n—-,” wrote Fletcher in a now deleted Instagram message. “F–k at your own risk!”
Besides Herbo, Fabolous and Emily B celebrated Williams’ birthday on social media, and Fab expressed how proud he is.
“How she only 21 but she a savage!!” wrote the rapper Monday on Instagram. “Watched you blossom into a Rose & can’t wait to see what else you do in Life now that you’ve grown into a amazing young lady. I’ll be here for you every step of the way!! Love you ❤️ #Taina21.”
Emily used a photo of Williams to send her birthday message, and she expressed her love as well. Then people left various comments, especially under Herbo’s post. In fact, some brought up Fletcher and the cheating allegation, but some just said they liked the rapper’s message.
“Wow love this,” someone wrote.
“you cheat on ari while she going through postpartum smh disgusting,” another person commented.
