“Love and Hip Hop: New York” viewers are not showing Kimbella Vanderhee any mercy after accusing Yandy Smith of “possibly” using her foster daughter for a story-line.
Vanderhee and Smith have been beefing for most of season 9 of “LHHNY,” but folks seemed to think Vanderhee took it too far. The two reality stars were two peas in a pod before ending their friendship all together in 2017. Vanderhee accused Smith of being a “bad” friend after suddenly disappearing out of her life. She also implied that Smith only cared about public image and how she’s portrayed on social media.
Smith, on the other hand, indicated that she cut ties off with Vanderhee because she was tired of getting in the middle of Vanderhee’s relationship drama with Juelz Santana.
Fast-forward to episode 12 where mutual friend JuJu Castenenda invited both Vanderhee and Smith on a trip to Costa Rica to hash out their differences. During the trip, Maggie Carrie, Maino’s girlfriend told Smith that Vanderhee and Mariah Lynn were talking smack about her foster parenting efforts. Vanderhee said she believed that Smith was “definitely doing this [adoption] for the wrong reason.”

Smith became extremely upset and threatened to leave Costa Rica in order to avoid drama with Vanderhee. However, when Castenenda confronted Vanderhee about attacking Smith’s foster care efforts, Vanderhee seemingly double downed on her original stance.
“I didn’t talk about the kids with a S,” Vanderhee told Castenenda. “I said she was probably just doing it to make herself look good and I said I hope that’s not the reason. And that’s how I feel about it.”
“LHHNY” viewers blasted Vanderhee for seemingly attacking Smith’s foster parenting efforts and appearing to backtrack on her claims.
“Now Kimbella know that is not what she said 🤦🏽♀️🙄 so now you back pedaling,” one fan said.
“Kim lying like hell she said Yandy only took In Infinity for clout and that she’s doing all of this for TV! She was dead wrong for that,” another added.
“I’m going with Yandy on this.. sorry we all heard Kim talk smack about her behind her back. It is what it is we heard it. Children should be off limits 🙄,” a viewer tweeted.
However, one fan in particular felt Vanderhee wasn’t wrong for her claims against Smith.
“Ya’ll getting on Kimbella but what she said about Yandy is right. Yandy fake af and using that little girl for a storyline 😑.”
