“Love and Hip Hop: New York” star Alexis Skyy found herself back in the hospital this week after an alleged shootout occurred at a nightclub she attended during Super Bowl weekend.
A slew of celebrities flew into Atlanta for Super Bowl LIII festivities this past weekend, and Skyy happened to be among the list. The star was spotted carousing near 617 Social Lounge on Northwest Spring Street in Midtown Atlanta on Feb. 3 according to TMZ.
In the midst of celebrating, Skyy and a crowd of patrons heard two loud noises go off inside of the lounge which folks suspected were gunshots. The lights inside the establishment turned on, and a wave of people were seen scrambling for the exits. Skyy reportedly was injured during the stampede, and that’s when a man who seems to have been a part of her entourage lifted her up and carried her out of 617.
Skyy was then taken to a local hospital for an injured leg, but doctors said she suffered from a slight sprain, nothing “serious or broken,” the outlet reported. The gunshots spectators claimed they heard inside the Atlanta lounge turned out to be false alarms.
The 24-year-old spent most of last week at a hospital after her 1-year-old daughter Alaiya Grace underwent emergency brain surgery to repair a malfunctioning shunt. The little girl was reportedly vomiting during their entire flight from Atlanta to New York before Skyy rushed her to the ER.
The reality star updated worried fans on her daughter’s health condition on Jan. 31, to let them know she was recovering well.
“Thank you everyone for your prayers, Lay Lay is good.” She added in a separate post on her Instagram Story, “Thank God Lay Lay is back active and doing better.”
Not long after her daughter’s surgery, Sky seemingly was seen making an appearance at a nightclub. She’s been forced to limit the comments on her social media after fans slammed her for “not taking care of her child.”
After growing tired of the negative comments Skyy explained that club appearances are her way of making money and clapped back at a detractor who called her a “bad mom.”
“No b***h actually I’m on my way to work to provide for my child,” Alexis responded. “I have a great support system my daughter is good when I’m not working I’m with her.”
