Tamar Braxton was the target of a troll’s negativity on Christmas Day, but she didn’t have to worry about standing up for herself. Thankfully, fans swooped in to take care of that for her.
The singer uploaded a video of her on vacation on Dec. 25 as she braved the windy conditions on a boat to ring in the holiday.
“Windy Christmas 🎄,” she captioned the brief footage.
Many comments saw fans gushing over her look for the day, which featured a headwrap and oversized sunglasses.

But then, things took a turn when one Instagram user took aim at Braxton’s financial woes with estranged husband Vince Herbert, including a 2018 lawsuit filed by LDNX Records, and 2017 $3.7 million judgment to Sony for a non-recouped advance.

The user’s remarks are a take on reports that emerged around the time Braxton filed to divorce Herbert in October 2017. However, despite news of Herbert’s money problems making headlines, there have been no reports that he or Braxton, by extension, is bankrupt. They did, however, put up their Calabasas, Calif., home up for sale before Braxton went to court to begin divorce proceedings last year.
Meanwhile, fans have taken up for the singer and single mom over the troll’s comment.
