Kimbella Vanderhee is in hot water with fans who felt she was being too hard on Juelz Santana while he awaits his prison sentence.
Vanderhee and Santana have been together for nine years and have endured several hardships in their relationship, including the rapper’s drug addiction and pending jail sentence.
The “Dipset” artist found out that he was facing a minimum of two to five years in prison for carrying a firearm on an aircraft and possessing a weapon as a felon. He had to consider whether to take a plea deal or go to trial, as losing at trial could result in 10 years maximum.
In March, Newark Liberty International Airport authorities found a gun and Oxycodone pills inside Santana’s luggage. He fled the scene at the time of the incident but handed himself over to police a few days later.

However, during Monday night’s (Dec. 10) episode of “Love and Hip Hop,” Santana revealed to Vanderhee that he decided to take a plea deal and will serve 27 to 37 months behind bars.
“I decided to take the plea,” Santana said. “I felt like it was the least selfish choice for my family. I still don’t have no full closure, because at the end of the day I know the final decision is on the judge. He could give me more time than I agreed on. Just when I felt like I was going to be getting some closure, the problems just begun.”
Vanderhee blasted her fiancé about his drug addiction and seemingly felt his drug habits were the reason for his mistake at the airport.
“You don’t own your responsibilities to having a substance abuse,” Vanderhee said to Santana. She added in her confessional, “If he wasn’t on drugs, if his mind wasn’t cloudy, he wouldn’t have found himself in this situation.”
“LHH” viewers felt Vanderhee was being too judgmental toward Santana.
