‘Bullsh*t!’ Towanda Braxton Slams Loni Love for Trying to ‘Create Dissension’ Following Interview About Tamar Braxton’s Firing from ‘The Real’

Towanda Braxton has caught wind of the remarks Loni Love made last week about a supposed warning Braxton gave her concerning her sister Tamar Braxton’s discord with the comedian. And the gloves are off.

When Love stopped by “The Breakfast Club” on Friday, Oct. 12 with her “The Real” co-hosts, the comic went on the record to explain how Tamar got the ax from the show. She maintained she nor her fellow panelists Tamera Mowry-HousleyAdrienne Houghton and Jeannie Mai had anything to do with Tamar’s firing.

Instead, Love said Towanda told her about a rough cut of a “Braxton Family Values” episode that saw Tamar’s husband Vincent Herbert put it in his wife’s ear that “The Real” hosts were to blame.

“Her sister, Towanda, said ‘Loni I am so sorry this is happening to you. We know you ain’t have nothing to do with it,'” Love recalled Towanda telling her on a flight to Atlanta. “She said, ‘But, I’m going to tell you something  — they just did an emergency filming of ‘Braxton Family Values’ and you need to see the episode.’ I said, ‘What are you talking about?’ She said, ‘You just need to see the episode.’”

Love explained a contact of hers who worked at WEtv told her about the rough cut.

“‘You are being named, the girls are being named and Vince is doing the naming,'” Love remembered. “I called my attorney [and] I said, ‘You gotta call WEtv and let them know that if they’re naming us, we’re going to have to have legal action because we had nothing to do with this defamation of character…

“There was a blogger that actually saw the rough cut and it says Vince names us saying that we jealous — he names me specifically” Love added.

But according to Towanda, Love’s claims are B.S.

“What I’m not willing to do is allow ANYONE to create dissension,” Towanda fired off on Instagram Saturday, Oct. 13 “I absolutely was on that flight with @comiclonilove And how many years ago was this conversation? I’m amused at how the statements were paraphrased. It was NEVER a heads up…. AND as soon as I saw Loni on the flight, I IMMEDIATELY contacted Tamar to let her know. The interview circulating that I’m included in is bulls—. Why feel compelled to keep mentioning Tamar when it pertains to that talk show? I guess they are her biggest fans? 🤷🏼‍♀️ Y’all should ask Tamar to come back since she’s the hot topic….Keep it ‘REAL’ or change the name of the show. #therealreal Love you Tamar ❤️, just like ‘The Real’ #igottimetoday #tamarbraxton.”

Fans swooped in to give their two cents on the matter.

“@itowandabraxton clapping back on EVERY DAMN BODY 😂😂😂😂😂😂 I love it.”

“Enough said!!”

“If you feel it is such an old, useless topic then why even respond here. Knock it off.”

“But why you mad .. clearly the producers were over Tamar nasty attitude. Y’all take up for the wrong thing .. @comiclonilove handled the interview well & tactful. Do you know why she got let go @itowandabraxton??”

Towanda’s direct response to Love comes after Tamar posted a cryptic message on Instagram Thursday.
