Tamar Braxton has apparently caught wind of her “The Real” co-hosts chatting about her Friday and she seems to have responded to their take on her firing two years ago.
During a chat on “The Breakfast Club” Oct. 12, Loni Love directly tackled the elephant in the room. She made it clear that she nor Tamera Mowry-Housley, Adrienne Houghton and Jeannie Mai had anything to do with getting Braxton kicked off the daytime talk show. Love pointed to Braxton having her husband, Vince Herbert come on board as her manager as the root of why things took a dive between the singer and her former co-hosts.
The comedian said she learned about a rough cut of “Braxton Family Values” and Herbert had called out “The Real” hosts and blamed them for Braxton getting the boot.
“I called my attorney I said, ‘You gotta call WEtv and let them know that if they’re naming us, we’re going to have to have legal action because we had nothing to do with this defamation of character,’” Love explained.
By noon that day, Braxton seemed to have made it known that she wasn’t going to give the discussion any attention. Instead, she’s leaving things up to a higher power.
“Alexa play ‘the battle is not yours it’s the Lords’ by @yolandaadams 🗣 If he fixed my edges he can fix ANYTHING 🙏🏾🤣,” Braxton said in the caption of a photo of the star turned to the side with her full hairline on display.
Fans peeped he shade thrown at her former colleagues, who said they haven’t heard from Braxton since she was canned in 2016.
Braxton’s followers then shared their thoughts on the situation in the comments.
“simply get together and talk. it’s not that serious. loni said she don’t mind talking. you a better person? take a leap and have a simple convo. pettiness gotta stop 🙄”
