Tamar Braxton is unafraid to hit back at her haters. And she did just that on Twitter Saturday, Sept. 8.
A user by the username @thetrillgent said he honestly thought rapper Vic Mensa wearing a mask of a woman over his face was the singer.
“thought this was Tamar no lie,” he said of the photo.
Nearly an hour later, Braxton caught wind of the tweet and hit back with a low blow.
“😂….& I thought that was your dad! But I forgot that you don’t know what he looks like either🤷🏽♀️ #nolie #sincewejokingright😏.”
Fans ate up the major dose of shade.
“😂🤣😂 @TamarBraxtonHer for 🗣 The Win!!!”
“GIIIIRRRRLLLL!!!! I AM WHEEZING!! Give him the read of the century muva!😂☕️😬❤️😂 Don’t come for TAYTAY MKAY! Your asking for the read of your life! PERIOD!.”
“😂😂 That shout took a wrong turn. They already know you not the one to be played with.”
“drag him sis.”
“He finna go cry in the car 🤣😂😂🤣.”
“COLLECT AND DRAG TAMAR!”
Braxton has been rocking the bald look for the last several months and even shared the moment she shaved off all her hair with fans on Instagram.
“✂ finally free,” Braxton captioned the March clip of her hair cut as Bobby Brown’s “My Prerogative” played in the background.
As an explanation for why she decided to ditch her signature long blonde hair, Braxton made a follow-up post on her page writing, “I’m over feeling captive to a wig, weave, people, people’s comments & opinions hell…even my OWN feelings! WE can choose to stop these things from having the power and victory over us!! And for me, that starts TODAY 🤸🏾♀️ #happysttamarsday🍀.”
Since then, Braxton has switched up her ‘do. She primarily still rocks her bald look, but she’s also grown out her hair enough to dye it pink or purple and she’s not afraid to throw on a wig every now and then for a performance.
