Porsha Williams held her own on “Dish Nation” the other day when it came to Gary with Da Tea and his talk of one-hit wonders.
“I don’t care if I was a one-hit wonder. Porsha, you got one damn hit. You ain’t gon’ sing no more songs,” Gary says comically.
The remark was met with laughter from Williams and guest co-host Judge Lynn Toler.
“Let’s be clear, ‘Flatline’ did go to number 3 on the R&B charts,” Williams says. “So I charted, OK?”
Fans ate up the moment.
“I loooove how SHADY Gary is!! And Porsha will NOT let us forget that she was on the charts 🤣🤣🤣❤️❤️❤️.”
“Gary I love your shady ways!! Porch kudos on making the point that u charted…I would too just in case they forgot lmao.”
“Even she had to giggle omg Gary is too funny!”
This isn’t the first time Williams has spoken out about her 2014 single, either.
During a “Dish Nation” episode that aired back in June, Gary went in on former RHOA star Kim Zolciak-Biermann who had dropped a snippet of a new song called, “Wig.”
“She need to stop that,” Gary said after noting she was “insulting” the folks attending the parade at which Zolciak-Biermann was appearing.
While Williams wasn’t too impressed, her “Real Housewives of Atlanta” co-star Eva Marcille noted the GoNaked hair line founder was an actual singer.
“Yes, and my song was top three honey!” Williams said at the time of her song, which hit the iTunes R&B charts in 2014.
