Sunday night’s “Basketball Wives” episode saw Shaunie O’Neal broach the subject of taking the ladies with her to Amsterdam so she can study up on the marijuana business. It’s the setting of the epic showdown that was teased last month, which saw Malaysia Pargo toss a table at Jennifer Williams.
Since that midseason trailer debuted, many fans have been impatiently waiting to see how things shake out. And while viewers didn’t see the results Aug. 19, they did see how the trip is beginning to take shape.
O’Neal explicitly told Jackie Christie that Williams isn’t invited on the trip. But a few scenes later at around the 31:20 mark, Evelyn Lozada said Tami Roman decided not to go overseas. She adds that it’ll give Williams the ability to discuss the Rumor that Lozada slept with an ex of O’Neal’s with the women individually.
“If Shaunie wants to hold a grudge over a rumor that’s not even true, I am not flying halfway across the world to be on some bulls—,” Williams explains in a confessional. “However, I think it is a good idea for me to talk to Shaunie when Tami’s not there. I don’t know what to do.”
But in a teaser for next week’s episode, Lozada indicates to O’Neal that Williams will indeed show up in Amsterdam, admitting that she invited her pal to the trip.
“Oh no the hell you did not,” O’Neal responds.
How that shakes out between them and the table tossing remains to be seen but in the meantime, fans are eager to get to the climax of the excursion.
“I’m just waiting on Malaysia to throw the darn table #BasketballWives.”
