Steve Harvey Thinks French Family Wants a Photo with Him, Then Gets Unexpected Surprise

The joke was on comedian Steve Harvey this week when a French-speaking family wanted his help with a photo.

The talk show host on Friday, Aug. 3 posted the aftermath of a hilarious misunderstanding on Instagram. He explained that while vacationing in Europe with his family, he thought another group recognized him as a celebrity and he prepared for a photo-op. But the group wasn’t making that kind of request.

“My family off camera dying laughing 😂😂😂….French-speaking family had no idea who I was and asked for a picture I thought they wanted me in it…. NOPE !!😂😂😂😂,” Harvey captioned the photo.

Fans couldn’t stop laughing at the moment while praising Harvey’s humility.

“🤣🤣🤣😄 That’s how the good Lord humbles you sir!”

“Hahahaha love this Lol @lugi_86 wish we saw him somewhere in France Lol.”

“So funny if they only know who is taking the picture. I hope you were able to tell them who you are.”

“When your humility is checked by a French family😂😂😂😂. They clearly asked you because of that kicking dapper outfit though. 😉”

“🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 That is too funny! I can only imagine the ‘Steve’ face that you made then you realized what they were truly asking you to do. 🤣🤣🤣🤣.”

Even Harvey’s Original Kings of Comedy stand-up partner and former “The Steve Harvey Show” co-star, Cedric the Entertainer chimed in.

“That’s the Dope part, you get to be just a regular Moe walking down the street. They [k]new your height would give them the right angle. ‘Of course, I’ll take a picture wi…..’OF’ you!!!’ 😂😂😂😂.”

Harvey has been traveling with his wife, Marjorie Harvey, for the last few months giving glimpses into their lives.

The comic recently uploaded a video of his wife smoking a cigar, as he playfully chided her for smoking skills.

“This girl not gon do this right here. This is not what she do. This is just ’cause she know y’all watching …I ain’t even wanna show it to you,” he said.
