“Basketball Wives” star Jennifer Williams looking to move on from her failed relationship with “Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s” star Tim Norman.
Williams told her pal Kristen Scott during Monday night’s episode that she has to report back to court over her temporary restraining order against Norman.
“It’s taking a toll on me, it’s really wearing me down. I haven’t been sleeping well, my mind is like, all over the place,” she explains at the 10:53 mark. “I’m nervous, I still don’t want to walk my dog after dark … I just need to date different guys.”
Williams and Norman’s court battle has been very public as the two have accused one another of violence. The VH1 reality star first obtained a TRO against Norman, who is known for his involvement in Sweetie Pie’s restaurant (which had a reality TV series on OWN), alleging he stalked her and was violence-prone as he stirred up publicity for his now-canceled series.
Norman hit back with a restraining order of his own, claiming Williams was violent and also alleged she stole money from him. Both sides of the former couple had wished to obtain permanent restraining orders from a judge, but their requests were denied in June.
After the denial, Williams expressed on camera how worried she is about her safety.
“I’m a single woman, I live alone,” she says in a confessional. “I’m absolutely still afraid. And it’s really awful that I can’t live my normal life.”
Williams later became emotional when speaking to a therapist about her relationship patterns, admitting she feels like she’s by herself in the world.
Fans who watched the episode, however, weren’t buying Williams’ storyline about her ex.
