Conservative actress Stacey Dash has announced she may run for Congress. The former Fox News correspondent tested the waters Friday, Feb. 9 asking her followers to share their thoughts on the possibility.

“A number of people online and off have suggested I run for political office,” the famous Donald Trump supporter tweeted. “I wanted to see what my online community thinks of this idea as I mull the possibilities. Thoughts?”

Someone then tweeted asking if the “Clueless” actress had any skeletons in her closet.

“Everything I am is in my book and public,” Dash, who resides in California, said, mentioning her memoir, “There Goes My Social Life: From Clueless to Conservative.” “Nothing they can hurt me with that they haven’t thrown at me already.”

Another mentioned she had posed nude for a 2006 Playboy spread.

“My response: I conferred with my children when offered. They told me ‘go for it mom,'” she tweeted. “If they didn’t have an issue with it, neither should anyone else. #NoShame.”

When someone else asked if the 51-year-old was prepared for “all the frustrations you will encounter” Dash replied, “Read my timeline and what some say.”

By Saturday, Feb. 10, the star had confirmed exactly which office she’d be running for and asked for more feedback from fans and friends. This time, folks weren’t quite as helpful.
