Eva Marcille has firmly put the drama between her and ex-boyfriend Kevin McCall behind her. The actress and star of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” is happily engaged to former Atlanta mayoral candidate Michael T. Sterling and is expecting their first child together, at least officially. According to Marcille, Sterling is the father of her 3-year-old daughter Marley Rae — not biological dad McCall, who publicly disowned the child on social media in December.

Diving headfirst into her wedding plans, Marcille said she hasn’t paid McCall any attention. That includes his comments about Black women needing to stop devoting time working for white-owned corporations and spend more time with their husbands.

“We don’t have a relationship,” Marcille told Essence in a Wednesday, Jan. 24 article. “He’s blocked on all my social media. I have full custody of my daughter and her dad is Michael Sterling, so he is a blast from the past and a memory.”

And while she doesn’t wish anything ill on her songwriting ex, she has focused her priorities on her daughter and her growing family.

“I do not let him affect my day-to-day in any shape, form or fashion,” she continued. “But I do pray him success, and more so than anything, peace of mind. Marley is the priority, the biggest priority of my life, outside of my newest child and my fiancé. And at the end of the day, despite personal feelings, she deserves a level of stability, tranquility, and sanity. And [that’s] my job as a parent, no matter how hard it is for me to provide that for her, but that’s my job.”
