Chris Brown Sued by Frank Ocean’s Cousin Over Parking-Lot Fight

Chris Brown is being sued by singer Frank Ocean’s cousin for the parking lot fight that happened back in January . It seems like another lawsuit was the last thing Brown needed. Shortly after news of the legal action broke, Chris sent out a morbid tweet that has some fans concerned.

After Brown’s stress-related seizure, it seems as if he still isn’t getting a break from the “nonstop negativity” that his doctor said contributed to the seizure.

The parking lot battle between Frank Ocean’s and Brown’s cliques may have happened over six months ago, but Breezy is still dealing with that mishap. To make matters worse, the lawsuit is attempting to hold the 24-year-old “Fine China” singer responsible for someone else’s actions.

Ocean’s cousin, Sha’Keir Duarte, is suing Brown for allegedly encouraging one of his bodyguards to continue to kick and beat him, ultimately leaving him disabled.

Duarte has not been very specific about what disabilities the beating left him with, but Brown’s legal team believes the lawsuit is downright ridiculous.

“This is what gives lawyers and lawsuits a bad name, is garbage like this,” said Mark Geragos, Brown’s attorney.

Duarte claims that during the massive fight, Breezy was egging on his buddy who goes by the name of “Hood” to continue to kick him over a dozen times while he was already on the ground. He also claimed that several of the blows were delivered to his head which has caused the permanent disabilities.

While Brown certainly played a part in the parking-lot beat down, he certainly isn’t responsible for another grown man’s actions. So far there have been no indications that Duarte even tried to legally go after the man who he claims kicked and beat him.

As for the “Novacane” singer himself, he decided not to file suit against Chris but he did release the lyrics to a “Versace” remix that included a Chris Brown diss.

The diss refers to when Breezy remained seated after Ocean received a standing ovation from everyone else in the crowd at the Grammys in February.

“Versace,Versace I’ll play the piano, I’m not Liberace / You could stay seating I’m taking that Grammy, your music is sloppy,” the lyrics read, although he has never released the actual audio of the remix.

Meanwhile, Breezy is posting a few of his own choice words and they are suggesting that he may not be able to handle the intense criticism that comes with being in the spotlight.

“They won’t love u until u r a memory…,” he tweeted.

Brown, who is the reigning king of tweeting and then deleting within a few minutes, did just that and after less than an hour later the tweet was removed.

Another tweet from last week also announced that the “Don’t Judge Me” singer is considering leaving music for good after his “X” album, just adding to the theory that Breezy may finally be breaking down.

The Epilepsy Foundation told ABCNews.com that non-epileptic seizures are usually caused by psychological issues rather than physical ones.

One can only hope that Brown will push through all the stress and use it as a learning moment rather than allow circumstances to break him down.
