Lil Wayne Slut-Shaming Chris Bosh's Wife Adrienne?

According to Lil Wayne and now Cam’ron, Chris Bosh’s wife Adrienne has quite the past. Before ever becoming Mrs. Bosh, Adrienne ‘Short Stack’ Williams was well known in what’s called the ‘groupie’ circuit. Cam’ron posted a throwback Thrusday photo to Instagram of Adrienne hanging out with his crew. His caption says it all. “My man @britishthetitan been had bosh wifey under wing b4 Wayne. Lol she use to be pissy drunk in my club in da Cincinnati,” Cam posted onto Instagram with a photo of Bosh’s wife.”

Meanwhile, during a concert on Sunday, Lil Wayne told the crowd in a very direct way that he and Bosh’s wife have been intimate.

“F–k LeBron, f–k She-Wade, f–k Chris Bosh, f–k all them ni–as, man,” he said to the crowd. “And, and, and, I f–ked Chris Bosh wife.”

However, his claim that the pair had a sexual relationship is no secret. Lil Wayne might be bringing up old news, however, to embarrass Bosh and somehow settle the score with the Miami Heat team.

The ‘Lollipop’ rapper’s beef with the Heat occurred during their last home game against the L.A. Lakers. The rapper was reportedly asked to leave after loudly rooting for L.A. There’s been a battle of he said, they said, as the NBA claims that Wayne was not asked to leave but that he left on his own free will after being approached by security. A spokesperson from the NBA also reported that any claims that the Young Money Crew front-man is permanently banned from NBA events are false.

Despite his apparent vendetta against the Miami Heat, Wayne might have good reason to be upset with the new Mrs. Bosh. Adrienne’s sexual past with Lil Wayne is just the beginning of a long trail of damning information about the wife and mother. Fellow rapper Gille Da Kid created a song about the alleged scam this former ‘Smooth’ model successfully ran against the ‘Cash Money’ rapper. In 2007 around the time of their fling, Adrienne told Lil Wayne that she had cancer. In response, he gave her a large sum of money, some speculate to in the neighborhood of $100,000, for treatment. Shortly thereafter, she was gone; with no record of cancer treatments and a nice sum of money from Lil Wayne.

Fast forward some years and Mrs. Bosh is a wife and mother. Her former life being tabloid fodder and bringing potential embarrassment to her husband and family is a general reminder that no matter how far you come, your past is always just around the corner. Many women are lured into accepting temporary situations with high profile men by the promise of money, gifts and recognition. Even everyday women; smart, driven, attractive and accomplished, have been increasingly willing to settle for sex in hopes that a meaningful and long-lasting relationship will develop as a result.

However, once the ‘friends with benefits’ arrangement ends, the damage to one’s reputation is done. If a woman involves herself in those type of situations with the intentions of turning all those nights of causal sex into a long lasting relationship, she’s fooling herself. Rarely is that the final reward. In some cases, it does happen. However, spreading oneself too thin sexually and using sex to get love is strategy for disaster. This is the case for both men and women.

Being chaste is an old-school mantra. In this new school era, men and women are abandoning that notion in favor of hooking up, casual sex and friends with benefits. Those scenarios all seem fine when you’re young. It’s a great idea to get your temporary needs met while looking for ‘the one’ but what happens when you find them? Or worse yet, what happens when you’re older, wiser and still looking? Adrienne seems to have found someone who either didn’t know about her past or didn’t care. Taking chances that the one you’re waiting for will be as willing to overlook your past as Chris Bosh is a long shot.

It’s childish and petty for a man to publicly shame a woman over their sexual history. While it’s more acceptable for a man to be sexually free and reckless, the fact remains that allegations of a sexual past between these two reflects on both parties. Lil Wayne is definitely not the epitome of how anyone, male or female, should handle their sex life. However, because of the double standard that exists, does Adrienne Bosh, and perhaps her family, have to defend her honor and justify her past?
