Rapper Fetty Wap’s 4-year-old daughter Lauren Maxwell was confirmed deceased on Saturday, July 31, after the toddler’s mother, who goes by the stage name Turquoise Miami paid tribute in honor of her passing.
Miami shared a touching post alongside a video of Maxwell. Despite conflicting reports that the toddler initially passed away back in June, details of Maxwell’s death have yet to be released.
Miami recalled the four-year-old as “amazing, vibrant, and funny” as she captioned the clip of Maxwell jumping up and down the pool, “This is my amazing, beautiful, funny, vibrant, loving, talented, smart and hardheaded princess mermaid Aquarius. If you see this post scrolling by with her comment or just say to yourself “i love you LAUREN” because they say that souls can feel your love #rip💔.”
As Miami’s comments section began flooding with “I love you Lauren,” several people also decided to express their condolences.
“Prayers to you…. You have the most BEAUTIFUL angel of them all.”
“Sending healing vibes your way❤️❤️.”
“Sending my condolences and love your way ❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼.”
Despite Miami’s tribute post, Fetty has yet to directly comment on his daughter’s death. The 30-year-old, however, did acknowledge Maxwell’s passing a few days prior during his Rolling Loud performance, according to Rap-Up magazine. Fetty wrote in a since-deleted Instagram story, “LoLo daddy did that shit for you last night baby girl.”
Maxwell was one of Fetty’s six children. Fetty is a father to Aydin, 10, Zaviera, 6, Khari, 5, Amani, 5, and three-year-old Zy.
In June, in honor of Father’s Day, Fetty expressed how much his kids meant to him by sharing the heartfelt caption, “Pieces of my heart ❤️ ….. It’s them over anything or anybody 👑.”
