Kandi Burruss‘s friendship with rumored “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” co-star LaToya Forever, whose real name is LaToya Ali, is blossoming right before our very own eyes. Kandi hopped over to her Instagram on Friday, Sept. 4, and shared a group photo of her and LaToya hanging out with their husbands Todd Tucker and Adam Ari, respectively.
“Sometimes you have to connect with people who can relate,” the reality star captioned the group shot taken at a local restaurant. She added, “Great time last night with @adamwontlose @laytoyaforever & @todd167! It was like Couples Therapy!”
The photo garnered over 29,000 likes and 300 comments from fans, who, of course, had plenty to say, including one user who commented, “I’m liking this for real. If she wasn’t cool, Kandi wouldn’t be hanging with her.”
However, while many were happy to see the two hanging out more, many fans were zoned in on LaToya and Adam, who were said to have split after six years of marriage, nine years together total, according to multiple reports. The popular YouTube stars both confirmed that their marriage was over in now-deleted posts. At the time, LaToya made a statement on her Instagram page while Adam made his announcement via a YouTube video. The couple has three kids together.
Fans were quick to question the validity of the pair’s separation after they appeared together in the snap with Kandi and Todd. One user wrote, “So their whole “we’re divorcing” stint was for a storyline for RHOA? ..🙄😂 figures much 🤷🏽♀️ but hey, guess you do what you feel you have to do.” While another user had something not so pleasant to say about the reunion, “Ya’ll they short on storylines, Latoya done took her husband back to get a peach, this will definitely be a bootleg season, not watching these fake a– storylines, Kandi and her alliances will be the demise of the show, tell Andy coke h–d Cohen we don’t care, it’s a wrap…..😂😂😂😂🤔.”
Despite what Latoya and Adam plan on doing with their relationship moving forward, fans seem to be happy that they are at least trying to work things out. One user wrote, “This makes me soooo happy!!!! I thought I heard his voice in your story but I wasn’t sure 😂😂❤️❤️❤️❤️.” While another fan commented, “Happy @latoyaforever and @adamwontlose are working things out loyal fan from day 1 🇬🇾.”
The double date photo comes on the heels of yet another meetup between Kandi and LaToya. On Saturday, Aug. 15, Kandi shared a photo of the two as they wore color-coordinated outfits and soaked up the sun on an outdoor patio. “This girl makes me laugh so hard! 🤣🤣🤣 @latoyaforever you should add comedian to your list of jobs,” Kandi captioned the snap.
