Radric Davis, also known as Atlanta’s very own Gucci Mane, spent the last week reflecting on his life with a throwback video message recorded by Keyshia Ka’oir after his prison release on May 26, 2016.
“I drop Traphouse May 24, 2005, 15 yrs ago started my career, and I got out 4 years ago 2016 thanks all who stayed down f– all y’all who snitched on me and switched sides! #happymemorialweekend,” Gucci wrote.
Dressed in all white, Big Guwop talked to his then-girlfriend, beauty entrepreneur Ka’oir in the video.
“You a free man, baby, talk to your fans Hunny,” Ka’oir said to the Trap God while recording.
“Happy Memorial Day weekend! Thank you to my fans, appreciate my lady,” Gucci responded to Ka’oir.
Fans reflected on Gucci’s release day and applauded Ka’oir for always supporting him through ups and downs.

Gucci was arrested in Georgia in 2013 for violating his probation by carrying a gun. Mr. Zone 6 pleaded guilty in May 2014 to a firearm possession charge and was sentenced to 39 months in prison.
Guwop was held at the United States Penitentiary in Terre Haute, Indiana, but his release date was bumped from March 2017 to September 2016.
However, his release came even sooner than that date. He and Ka’oir then married on May 14, 2017.
Ka’oir recently celebrated her third wedding anniversary with a heartfelt Instagram post to her hubby.
“WOW!!! Today is a very Special day for my husband & I! We met 5/14/10!!! Got married 5/14/17!!! Today 5/14/20 we’ve been together TEN YEARS!!!” she wrote. “It wasn’t always a smooth ride, but I would do it all over again! My husband @laflare1017 I LOVE U BABY!!!
Gucci responded to his wife’s video tribute, writing, “Happy 3yr anniversary MrsDavis” in her comment section.
He also gifted Ka’oir a “1017” diamond necklace with the words “Happy 3rd Anniversary Mrs. Davis” spelled out on it in the diamonds.
“Happy Anniversary to the QUEEN of 1017 !! My Wife @keyshiakaoir,” Davis wrote for the post showcasing the 35-year-old’s gift.
The Wopsters walked down the aisle in October 2017, which represents the “1017.” Their wedding was featured on a BET special titled “The Mane Event.”
The two don’t share children, but Ka’oir is the mother of two daughters and a son from a previous relationship. Gucci has only one son.
