Eva Marcille shared an adorable photo on Instagram of her 2-year-old son, Michael Sterling Jr., sucking on a pacifier in the early hours of the morning on Wednesday, April 15. Marcille, a reality star from “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” received quite a bit of backlash for allowing her son to indulge in his binky. Other parents expressed that her son was too old to be nibbling on the soother and implied that Marcille should shift her parenting method.
Little Michael appeared to have just awakened from his nighttime slumber when Marcille snapped the photograph with his sandy brown curls standing straight up. The former “America’s Next Top Model Winner” wrote as a caption: “Top of the morning 🌻.”
Fans gushed over the tyke’s morning appearance but bashed the 35-year-old television personality for capturing her child chewing on a teether.
“Look how cute but please get that thing out his mouth; he is walking and talking,” one user begged.
As somewhat of a reply to the first comment, a second fan admitted,”I used to think this too till I had a child lol sometimes it’s hard.”
“He is soooo cute❤️, but he’s probably growing out of his pacifier right,” a third user asked.
“Sweet sleepy baby eyes! 😘😘,” a fourth fan stated.
A fifth fan said, “Omg he is TOO cute! He looks just like Eva!🙋💃.”
“Those eyeeeees😩,” a sixth pointed out.
Marcille, a mother of three, married attorney Michael Sterling in October 2018 and gave birth to their oldest son, Michael, a few months later. The couple had a second son Maverik Sterling the following year. Marcille has a 5-year-old daughter, Marley Rae Sterling, from a previous relationship with music producer Kevin McCall. Sterling is in the process of adopting her daughter.
“The Rickey Smiley Morning Show” radio personality is currently going through a heated custody battle with McCall. McCall is suing her for custody, child support, and a name change back to his last name. Marcille referred to the 34-year-old rapper as Marley’s sperm donor on the Feb. 27 episode of “The Wendy Williams Show.” She received an enormous amount of heat from fans for shaming Marley’s father on national television.
