Future to Give Out College Scholarships While On Tour With Meek Mill

Future will be hitting the road with Meek Mill for their “Legendary Nights Tour,” and the Atlanta rapper will also be helping college students at the same time.

Future will be awarding $2000 in scholarship money to someone at each tour stop. He named the giveaway the “I’m a Dreamer Scholarship,” and besides money the recipient will also receive two tickets to the “Legendary Nights Tour,” as well as an exclusive I’m a Dreamer sweatshirt.

The rules to enter are listed on the homepage of Future’s Freewishes Foundation’s website. And all people need to do is follow the foundation’s Instagram page, then email a 500 word essay on “how receiving this scholarship would be a dream come true.”

Entries have to be submitted by 12:00 noon on the day before the tour stops in each city, and only active college students who live in that particular town can apply.

News of the scholarship comes shortly after Future, 21 Savage and Duct Tape Entertainment’s CEO Big Bank Black rented out the Six Flags White Water park for their Atlanta, Zone 6 neighborhood.

And earlier this month, the “Mask Off” rapper partnered with the second-hand menswear company Grailed to sell items from his personal wardrobe. All of the proceeds will go to his Freewishes Foundation that helps those in underserved communities.

As far as the tour, it’ll stop in Chicago, Ill. on Saturday, Aug. 31, then head to Detroit, MI. the following day.

The rappers will then be in Cincinnati, Ohio on Sept. 3, and for the rest of the month they’ll play in cities like Cleveland, Ohio, Pittsburgh, PA., Boston, Mass. and Atlanta, GA, before wrapping things up in Las Vegas on Oct. 5.
