A mother-daughter pool session between Porsha Williams and daughter Pilar Jhena’ had fans oohing and ahhing for a couple of different reasons.
“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star recently spent some time by the pool with PJ alongside her sister Lauren Williams and bestie Shamea Morton and their young daughters.
In an August 15 photo that Williams shared to her baby girl’s Instagram account, Williams posed in a black two-piece as PJ wore a Burberry one-piece baby swimsuit.
“My bestie 👩🏾🦱❤️👶🏽 #Thankful #Blessed #MommyandMe #PNP,” the image was captioned, including a curly-haired woman emoji and a baby emoji.
Williams also shared the same image on her Instagram page and captioned it in part, “I live to see your smile 👶🏽❤️ @pilarjhena #MyHeart #Muva.”
Many fans poured out with comments about the cuteness of newly reengaged Williams’ baby.
“PJ is the sweeties lil Angel 🙏🏽💕”
“Aww look at her with het lil chunky self she pretty”
“She is so beautiful ❤️”
“Both Beautiful and Miss Pilar and those Juicy cheeks and legs.. Adorable😍🔥😍”
But soon, the comments began to remark on the way Williams looked, showing off her rather slim body not quite five months after giving birth.
“Wow sexy mom and her adorable Princess beautiful smile Pj”
“There goes that smile. Love her swim suit. Porsha you are slaying girl.”
“She cute but dang @porsha4real after baby body is amazing.”
“Cute and look at you mommy all thick and fineee😍✨”
“Get it sexy momma💞”
But while fans have been praising Williams for her figure, she recognizes that not all mothers have such a massive slim-down after delivery.
Reflecting on that in a lengthy Instagram post made on Friday, Williams disclosed that she felt new moms “should be able to bask in motherhood and let our bodies naturally heal and evolve.”
“Like for me I had Pj 4 months ago and I just don’t feel ready to workout,” she continued, maintaining the stance she first went public with last month. “The snap back culture has put pressure on most moms so they end up feeling insecure about what their body is naturally doing and looks like. Ion know call me weird but I actually adore my lil marks and feel like it’s a lil badge of honor as all moms should🤷🏾♀️❤️ I just want to use myself to encourage fellow mommies 😊”
