“Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” actress Rasheeda Frost shared a post of herself and her youngest son Karter, and for fans it was a bittersweet moment.
Fans and supporters of the 36-year-old mother said they remembered when she was pregnant with her son in 2013 and seemed stunned to see how much the 5-year-old has grown.
On March 14, Frost posted a clip of her and little Karter’s visit to the Candytopia museum on Peachtree Road in Atlanta. The mother-son duo were spotted seemingly leaving the building walking hand-in-hand as Karter enjoyed a lollipop.
Frost wrote in her caption, “Funtime’s wit my Karter at #candytopia yesterday 😘,” while also mentioning the deets for her Pressed outfit.
The video of Rasheeda and Kirk Frost‘s youngest son had fans gasping about the little one’s growth spurt.
“Karter got so big💜,” one fan wrote. “Kids just grow up sooo fast I remember when you were 🤰❤️.”
Another fan added, “Cute as ever, omg he’s grown so much 😩💕 he’s so handsome.”
“Aww Sooo Cute💕💕 Hey Karter‼️ He is growing up right before our eyes!” another person commented.
Just last year, little Karter reached a major milestone and went off to kindergarten as he began his first year of school. She told fans in a post that seeing her son go off to school caused her to suffer from separation anxiety.
Around April 2017, the mother of two shocked fans after revealing that she suffered from postpartum depression after giving birth to Karter in August 2013.
“As a woman, I was trying to cope and be a great mom and wife. I didn’t look or feel my best,” she wrote in a blog post with People magazine. “I was over 200 pounds, and there were days I would tell Kirk, ‘Listen, you need to take care of Karter,’ and I would just lie around. I was in such a weird space, and he didn’t understand what was going on with me.”
Rasheeda said she was finally diagnosed with postpartum depression and she began her journey of overcoming it with natural remedies, spiritual growth and a healthier lifestyle change.
“I was able to create the routine I needed to balance life so I could do everything I desired, to feel like the Rasheeda I recognized,” the “LHHATL” star said. “You can find success during tough times, and I am sharing my experience with postpartum depression because it’s a global problem for many women. And it does not discriminate.”
