Evelyn Lozada and Jackie Christie Thick as Thieves as Filming Continues for New Season of ‘Basketball Wives,’ Not All Fans Are Buying It

Jackie Christie and Evelyn Lozada are thick as thieves in a new clip the latter shared on her Instagram Story Tuesday.

The stars of VH1’s “Basketball Wives” were hanging out together Feb. 12 chilling in a luxury vehicle while Christie puffed on what looks to be a blunt. As her pal indulged, Lozada laughed with a drink in her hand.

“@jackiechristie it’s 5 p.m. somewhere 😵” Lozada captioned the clip, which was posted onto her page at 11:10 that morning.

The two had previously fallen out with each other during season 6, when Christie thought Lozada was being malicious by donating to Christie’s estranged daughter Ta’Kari Lee’s GoFundMe page, which benefited her son who was badly burned.

During a heated moment, Christie called Lozada a b—- as they stood in front of Lozada’s daughter Shaniece Hairston. Things really came to a head when Christie told Lozada she read online that Shaniece is a “build-a-whore.” After that remark, the women nearly came to blows, following Christie’s failed apology, and had to be kept apart by security.

Fans applauded the pair for being back on good terms after making amends last season.

“I LOVE THE FACT THEY KOOL AGAIN💪💪💪😘😘😘”

“Lmaooo theese are my favs so happy there friends.”

“About time🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼look at god🙌🏼takari. Somewhere crying.”

“LOL I love this!!”

However, others deemed the recent bonding moment phony.

“Fake friendship.”

“Fakeeeeeee.”

“Hella fake.”

Presently, filming is going on for the eighth season of “Basketball Wives.” Lozada confirmed she’s returning to the show and said on Twitter in January that the cast started filming that month.

The star didn’t detail what’d be in store for the series but did acknowledge something that won’t be part of her storyline.

When asked what she planned to do with the embryos she has from going through in vitro fertilization with ex-fiancé Carl Crawford, Lozada tweeted last month she has no plans to circle back to the former Los Angeles Dodgers player.

“@EvelynLozada we’re only watching season 7 of #BasketBallWives in South Africa sorry about you and Carl; what have you decided to do with your embryos? Would he agree for you to have another baby and raise by yourself? Or is it not an option for you?” the fan asked.

“Nope! Moving TF on.. 🏃🏽‍♀️” the star replied, clearly having moved past the emotion of giving up her embryos last season.
