“Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” couple Waka Flocka Flame, 32, and his wife Tammy Rivera, 32, marked their upcoming five-year wedding anniversary with his gift to her of a massive diamond ring.
The “Round of Applause” rapper took to social media on Jan. 13 and posted a video of Rivera flossing her ring.
“She love it y’all 😍,” Waka wrote in his Instagram caption.
Rivera chimed in under her husband’s video and commented, “5 years married!!! 5 year anniversary.”
The couple secretly eloped in 2014 at a Georgia courthouse. Rivera told fans that Jan. 21 will officially make five years of marriage with Waka. The two are in the midst of planning a traditional ceremony that’ll include both of their mothers, Rivera’s 13-year-old daughter Charlie, and other loved ones.
The pair’s wedding ceremony will be held on Jan. 19, according to Rivera, and will be take place on a beach.
“Jan 21st we will be married for 5 years! We always said if we survive 5 years we will do the whole traditional ceremony, The Rings, The wedding, The Dress THE WHOLE SHEBANG,” the 32-year-old mother wrote in a post showing off her new wedding ring.
She continued, “I’m happy to announce we will be having a destination wedding the right way with our mothers by our side on Jan 19! Every since I seen the episode of Martin when him and Gina got married on the beach that was my dream wedding.”
Rivera already held her bridal shower and shared a series of photos of her $450 Linda Bezuidenhout deep-plunging V-neck dress paired with a pair of Manolo Blahnik heels, dropped earrings, and a bridal headband.
She wrote in her caption, “@WakaFlocka I think we should do this every 5 years.”
The couple are currently on the We TV series “Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition.” The two speak about the hardships they’ve overcome in their marriage, such as Waka’s multiple affairs with other women and Rivera’s anger outbursts.
