Beyonce Rocks It In Rio Performing Brazilian Dance Craze

Beyonce put on quite the show at the Rock in Rio music festival in Brazil where she took on an entire dance number dedicated to Brazil’s latest dancing sensation.

There isn’t a dance on this earth that Baddie Bey can’t do and if she ever decided to do a twerk video we’re pretty sure she would have Miley Cyrus hiding in shame for calling her voluntary seizures twerking, so it was no surprise that Mrs. Carter hit the stage and immediately broke out into the “Ah Lelek Lek Lek” dance.

The funk carioca, a sort of Brazilian electro funk, track by the group MC Federado and Os Leleks has become Brazil’s answer to America’s twerking obsession, and has been taking Brazil by storm. The YouTube sensation has the country dancing together and Beyonce is only the latest person to hop on the bandwagon.

Needless to say she performed the dance effortlessly. The huge crowd in Brazil would have been more than willing to accept her as one of their own after she flawlessly performed their latest local obsession.

Unfortunately, the dance craze doesn’t seem to be nearly popular enough to make everyone forget all the twerk videos – which have been circulating on the Web since Miley Cyrus was still Hannah Montana.

Anyway, Baddie Bey put on quite a show for her Brazilian fans and admitted that she was extremely excited just to be in their country.

“It’s one of my favorite places in the world,” she said during a press conference before the show. “I’ve never met so many people with so much passion and I am so excited to be here. It doesn’t feel like I’m working, it feels like a vacation.”

Of course, Bey has had more than enough of those as well.

It seems like every other day she’s kicking it on a luxurious yacht, with her husband Jay Z and baby Blue Ivy, which she claims has been a dream come true.

In the midst of all her performances and touring, she’s excited that she gets to take her baby girl to so many different places.

“It makes me proud of my job,” she said about being able to travel with Blue Ivy.

Other stars that will take the stage in Brazil this weekend include Justin Timberlake, Alice in Chains, Metallica, and Alicia Keys who still hasn’t gotten rid of that bizarre bowl cut.
