Fonzworth Bentley was once known as Diddy’s umbrella man, but since joining Kanye West’s music label, hosting shows on MTV and marrying Faune Chambers Watkins, things have changed. Bentley went on to host MTV’s “From Gs to Gents” and even released a single with West and Andre 3000.
On July 30th, Bentley added fatherhood to his resume. Bentley and Watkins welcomed daughter Zoie Alecia Watkins at L.A.’s St. Joseph’s Medical Center.
Bentley revealed to US Weekly:
“Faune was in labor for 23 hours and pushed for four-and-a-half hours, all without pain meds. There was no IV or anything. She did amazing and I’m so proud of her.”
He added, “We love our baby girl. There’s nothing like holding a miracle. Besides no pain meds, Faune gave birth at 6:26 a.m., but we left the hospital at 7:30 p.m. that night. This is how we do it. I want to be home with my baby. She’s a total blessing.”
Bentley will likely share the experience with West, who also welcomed a baby girl last month, as he revealed to US Weekly that the duo can’t stop talking about fatherhood.
“Talking about being fathers is our number one conversation now. It’s awesome entering this next phase of life with a friend.”
